Compass Health — Recovery Navigator Program. 300-200-7660. Community-based outreach for individuals seeking recovery from substance use or co-occurring disorders. No insurance required.
GetHelp. Washington-specific resource for behavioral health, housing, and crisis support.
San Juan County Health & Community Services. 360-378-4474. Provides harm reduction services, referrals, and care coordination for individuals in recovery.
WA TeleBuprenorphine Hotline. 24/7 access to buprenorphine (Suboxone) prescriptions for opioid use disorder.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).
Offers in-person, hybrid, and online meetings throughout the islands.
District 46 is the county-wide / multi-island AA District. They have a 24-hour answering service, a full meeting directory for Orcas, San Juan, Lopez, and nearby islands, and hybrid / cross-island options. Because schedules can change, please verify meeting times via local groups or at District 46.

Supports individuals seeking recovery from drug addiction. In-person island meetings are held in Eastsound and Friday Harbor. Virtual NA 24/7 meetings are accessible worldwide.
Northwest Washington NA Meeting Search.
Al-Anon supports family members and friends affected by someone else’s drinking. Alateen provides support for youth. Meetings are held in Eastsound and Friday Harbor.
Offers a secular, science-based approach focused on cognitive and behavioral tools for recovery. SMART Online is widely used across the county.
Uses Buddhist-informed practices and peer-led meditation to support recovery from all forms of addiction. There are no active, island-based Recovery Dharma groups at this time, but many residents participate in virtual sanghas.
