Invest in Recovery Today.

Recovery in the San Juans faces a unique geographic challenge. The distance between our community and mainland treatment resources is a enormous barrier when someone needs immediate help.

Your donation can help minimize this barrier by ensuring that when someone is ready to seek help, logistics such as ferry and transportation costs, and needed support don't stand in their way.

Your generosity and compassion provides life-changing support.

How Your Donation Helps.

We are a local organization built on the idea of neighbors helping neighbors. Unlike large national charities, your contribution has an immediate, measurable impact right here at home and can support our community in the following ways:

  • Recovery Rides. Covers the cost of gas/electricity, ferry fares, and mainland transportation logistics (like hotel stays) for a safe, accompanied ride to detox or treatment.

  • Resource Navigation. Supports our outreach efforts that connect individuals and families to the right local mental health and substance use resources.

  • Community Connection. Helps us facilitate supportive, stigma-free peer gatherings and public education campaigns.

  • Volunteer Support. Provides training and resources for our dedicated volunteers who offer companionship, advocacy, and navigation assistance during challenging transitions.

The Impact of Your Gift

Recovery is a journey, and your generosity provides the critical first steps. Here is how gifts of any size translate into real support:

  • $50. Covers a volunteer's ferry fare, ensuring one islander gets a safe, accompanied ride to the mainland.

  • $150. Funds the essential training and resources for a new volunteer to become a peer support advocate.

  • $500. Provides a full, complex Recovery Ride, including travel, a volunteer advocate, and any necessary lodging thus removing the biggest obstacle between a person and life-saving treatment.

We know that addiction and mental health challenges impact us all. When you support Recovery in Community, you are investing in a future where compassion replaces stigma, and no islander has to face the journey to healing alone.

Thank you for being part of the solution.
