A Path Built on Compassion and Advocacy

When I first reached out to RIC, I was in the emergency room for alcohol detox. I was broken, shaking, ashamed, and without hope. From the start, I was treated with compassion and respect. Unable to advocate for myself, my wonderful outreach person did the work behind the scenes. It gave me hope and direction.

I was taken to inpatient care on the other side of the state. While I was there, RIC reached out to me with tons of support for aftercare and even a ride to get there. I was given funding for an Oxford House for three months and driven to the home. I have received extraordinary care, support, and funding to help me navigate early recovery. This is an organization with immense compassion for people in recovery. I couldn't imagine getting through this very difficult life change without them.

Thank you, RECOVERY IN COMMUNITY, from the bottom of my heart.
